When Artificial Intelligence Meets

Real Coffee Love

Coffee beans as a back ground, robot hand holding and ices coffee

We Asked AI for the Ultimate Iced Coffee Recipes… and WOW.

We decided to have a little fun with our robot friends this summer. So we asked

ChatGPT 4 and Chat 5 to dream up the ultimate iced coffee creations.

They got a little fancy, but hey—so can you. Here’s what they came up with:

🤖 GPT-4’s Pick: Tropical Coconut Cold Brew

Think vacation in a glass without the airport security lines.

  • Tropical Coconut Cold Brew 🥥😍

    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup of freshly ground Colombian coffee beans  (for its balanced flavors and hint of nuttiness)
    • 4 cups of cold, filtered water
    • 1 cup of full-fat coconut milk
    • 2 tbsp of raw honey
    • 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
    • Toasted coconut flakes for garnish
    • Ice cubes

    Instructions:

1.In a large jar or a cold brew maker, mix the freshly ground coffee with cold filtered water. Make sure all the coffee is soaked in water.

    2. Cover the jar and refrigerate it for at least 12 to 24 hours. This allows the coffee to steep and gives it a less acidic and smoother taste.

    3. After steeping, strain the mixture using a fine-mesh sieve or a coffee filter. This is your cold brew coffee.

    4. In a small saucepan, warm the coconut milk over medium heat.

    5. Add raw honey to the warm coconut milk and stir until it dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. Let it cool.

    6. To serve, fill a glass with ice. Pour the cold brew coffee over the ice, leaving some space for the coconut milk.

    7. Slowly pour the cooled coconut milk mixture into the glass.
Garnish with toasted coconut flakes and enjoy your Tropical Coconut Cold Brew.

🤖 Chat 5's Pick:

  • Iced Sumatran Mocha Cold Brew ☀️🍫

Ingredients (Makes 2 servings)

  • 1 cup coarsely ground Sumatran coffee
  • 4 cups cold, filtered water
  • 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ tsp ground cinnamon)
  • 2–3 tbsp simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
  • Milk, cream, or oat milk to taste
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Combine coffee grounds, cocoa powder, and cinnamon in a large jar or French press.

  2. Add the cold water and stir well. Cover and steep in the fridge for 12–18 hours.

  3. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter.

  4. Serve over ice with your choice of milk and a splash of simple syrup or honey.

  5. Optional: sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa on top for that café finish.

.

Here’s the thing: The secret to both recipes is starting with really good cold brew, and the secret to that… well, you know where to find it. 😉

So grab a bag of beans from the porch, channel your inner mixologist, and give one (or both) of these AI inventions a spin.

Your summer coffee game? Officially upgraded.

Warmly,
The Front Porch Cafe Team
