More Globetrotting…

Continuing our travels around the “bean belt” we finally get to Asia. These coffees are very smooth and full-bodied. They have a density to them as well as distinct a cocoa-esque quality (making up words right now). They have bolder earth tones and often nutty undertones.

Indian Monsooned Malabar is a beautiful bean from the region of Malabar in India. You will get some spicy characteristics from these beans as Malabar was a HUGE part of the spice trade for centuries. The cherries are picked, dried and washed by the rains during monsoon season…superb and a bit romantic sounding!

Indonesia supplies us with excellent beans from many of its islands. Sumatra, East Timor, Sulawesi, Papua New Guinea each have unique flavors and that beautiful Indonesian richness. Indonesian coffees are lower in acidity than African or beans from the Americas.

Our Indonesian Blue Bali is a must try if you would like to explore these coffees. Grown on volcanic mountainsides this low acid coffee will please your palate. From our light roasted Indian Monsooned Malabar to our decadently dark roasted Sulawesi you are certain to find a fun new coffee from the other side of the world to try.

Now that you see how many countries we source our coffees from be bold and get a bag of something different for yourself.

As mentioned last week, our Holiday Blend, it has coffees from each of the major growing regions. A medium-dark roast with balanced acidity make sure you get a bag of it to try as well.

World Kindness Day Nov.13 th - Let’s make that everyday!!!
